The last of a plethora of found Christmas ales in 2025. Clear golden with a creamy head. Bland hoppy brew, looking good, but a dull hoppiness with a hint of sweets tropical fruit seemingly trying to break through.

A different kind of ears but RAF Menwith is an all ears listening site for National Security Agencies. This All Ears is a fruity, fizzy carbonated keg pour, this latter aspect a bit of a distraction, although always flavoursome, coupled with a fruity aroma too. Soft tropical notes in both. Hazy golden colour.

On The Fly is a Ice Hockey highlights show I used to watch frequently in a professional capacity. Recreational On The Fly here with it being a session hoppy-fruity brew, tropical-sweet but just a tad on the weak side.

Thin creamy white head on a hazy dull golden coloured body.
Zesty citrus aroma.
Orange zesty chalky & grapefruit tastes with a bitter hoppy finish.
Good one!

6/11/2025. Cask at The Fat Cat, Ipswich. Cloudy pour. Overripe, dank hopped, stewed tropical fruits, stone fruits, straw. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Low carbonation. Not a big fan of this.

Had to look up Perilla, this is a new ingredient for me in beers, and this one does have a mild floral influence, although its damson is still dominant in a dryish tasting beer.

A Captain Oates image in a mosaic memorial to the Scott Antarctic expedition exists in Cardiff Bay, where it departed from. Plenty of tropical flavours here, albeit dry, with a subduing effect in this respect. Aroma a tad dirty.
