Cloudy orange gold with a bubbly white head and a lovely citrusy orange and pine aroma. Medium bodied with caramel malt and sweet citrus, some resinous pine and hop bitterness, and a dry finish

8/2/2024. Cask at the Victoria Inn, Colchester. Pours very slightly hazy golden orange with a small frothy white head. Aroma is light hopped, citrus, orange peel, straw. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness, with a hint of citric tart. Moderate body, a little watery, average carbonation. Started well but faded.

Cask @ The Bell Inn, Oswestry. Pours gold with a fine mist, white head. Not much of an aroma, mild malt. Lagery impressions to taste.. thin bodied, not much of a hop influence coming through.. a thirst-quencher but that's it.

Cask at Old Harkers Arms, Chester. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a medium sized foamy tan head. The aroma has oats and roasted malts. In the mouth it starts off sweet and smooth with a creamy texture but quickly some underlying fruitiness can be detected. Flavour has cola, roast malts, oats and lactose leading to a dry and fruity finish. This is rather nice.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 6th January 2024. Dark brown with shallow, loose off-white foam and virtually no lacing. Nutty malts aroma. Hazelnut nuttiness in liquid pass, and a hard malt finish. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.
