Hand-pulled half-pint in the Tap and Can, Shrewsbury on 11th August 2021. Mini haze to the amber body, steady white foaming head. Nice, easy going IPA without really stretching your senses too much. Orchard fruits in the nose and taste.

14/7/2021. Cask at the Dog & Partridge, on the A628 from Sheffield. Pours almost clear pale yellow gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of citrus, straw, lemon drops, banana and vanilla milk shake. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, light creamy texture, very soft carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle from Craft & Berry. Appearance - golden with white lacing. Nose - lemon, biscuit and grassiness. Taste - lemon barley water. Biscuits. Palate - light bodied, dry middle and finish. Overall - drinks more like a golden ale than an ESB.

Bottle from Craft & Berry. Appearance - golden with gentle carbonation and a creamy white head . Nose - light caramel or honey. Taste - definitely honey this time, with caramel backing it up. It's very sweet. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy texture. Still sweet on the finish, unfortunately. Overall - where's the hop bitterness?

Bottle from Craft & Berry. Appearance - amber with a big fluffy tan head. Nose - burnt toffee and fruit cake. Taste - toffee, Jamaica cake, brown bread backdrop. Palate - close to medium bodied. Creamy texture, decent balanced bitterness on the finish. Overall - good example of the Bitter style.
