Description
Based on a busy working farm in the picturesque village of Bradfield in the Peak District, Bradfield Brewery have gone from milking 100 cows a day to brewing over 100,000 pints of beer a week! The brewery sprung to life with completion of its first Brew on 26th April 2005 and the brews have carried on flowing ever since.

Trivia: As the family had enjoyed 2 generations of farming at Watt House Farm and not wanting the cows to feel left out, some of the beers are named after breeds of cattle.

Handpull cask at the Garrison, Mansfield. It's mid- to dark brown with a hint of red, slightly translucent with a creamy beige head. Light malty nose with hints of forest floor. Taste is malt-led, mostly sweet with the taste of red grape in the finish. Smooth body, very soft carbonation. A passable beer in a very hard style to pull off.

Medium plus sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet malty finish. Improved from first impressions but aroma was not great.
