Bradfield Brewery

Handpull cask at the Garrison, Mansfield. It's mid- to dark brown with a hint of red, slightly translucent with a creamy beige head. Light malty nose with hints of forest floor. Taste is malt-led, mostly sweet with the taste of red grape in the finish. Smooth body, very soft carbonation. A passable beer in a very hard style to pull off.

23/2/2019. Cask at the Great British Winter Beer Festival 2019, Norwich. Pours clear golden with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of flowers, fish, malt vinegar, spicy hops and biscuit. Medium plus sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Sweet malty finish. Improved from first impressions but aroma was not great.
