Cask @ King's Head, Huddersfield. Dark red with a creamy head. It's a fine session textured ale with lightly sweetened light malts and a lowish bitterness. Pleasant.

Cask. Old Crown, Handsworth, Sheffield. Clear, copper colour. Sparkler induced, creamy, off white head. Nose has nutty malts. Some dried fruit. Bit of a yeasty twang. Taste is mostly dry, and light, vine fruit bitter. Light body. Vinous finish. Well, it’s completely bland as you’d expect from a Bradfield beer, but it’s not badly brewed. It’s just brown.

Cask @ Yates’s, Halifax, as Bradfield Farmers Ale. Dark copper-brown with a creamy head. Lightly sweetened easy-drinking session bitter.

Cask at Old Harkers Arms. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has wet wood and straw with some leaves underlying. Flavor has biscuit with leaves and wet wood backing.

On cask at Steel City Beer Festival - Hazy pink body with a good looking top. Nose is maraschino cherries and faint hints of biscuit malts. Taste is meh. Fake cherry taste. Like Farmers Blonde with added syrup.

Clear chestnut brown colour, small frothy beige head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma toasted malts, dark fruits, caramel, light treacle, brown sugar. Mild taste, medium sweet and light bitter, malty, toffee, dried fruits, light toasted. Toasted malt sweetbitter finish, light earthy notes. Light body, watery to oily texture, soft caramel, well-balanced and nice brown ale.

Handpull cask at the Geldart, Cambridge. Straw, clear, very little head but lots of lacing. Light floral aroma overlaid with white grape and lemonade notes. Bittersweet taste with a malty backbone. Odd, almost savoury note in the finish with sweaty and metallic notes in the finish. There are good moments but it doesn’t hang together nearly as well as I’d like.

Black color with a off white head. Some lacing. Fine intensity in the aroma. Medium (-) body and a soft carbonation level. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Semi dry ending. Dark malt, roast and cold coffee in the flavor. Decent easy drinkable stout.
