On cask at Pointing Dog, Sheffield - Hazy golden body, lasting lacing white head. Nose is eggy, peaches, light malts, a little bit of citrus. Taste is a little washed out, but has a fair amount of body and a decent mouthfeel.

On keg at the Yorkshire Bridge by Bamford. Appearance - opaque black with a decent head. Nose - burnt toast, a hint of chocolate but you have to seek it out. Taste - creamy chocolate, more burnt toast at the back. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - a solid stout.

On cask at the Yorkshire Bridge by Bamford. Appearance - deep amber to brown with orange chinks. Good head that sticks around. Nose - meaty, marmite and sweet malt. Taste - sweet malt and more savoury notes. Burnt malt finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - a solid mild but not worth a revisit.

Bottle at Heights of Abraham in Matlock. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - citrus and floral notes. Taste - more citrus and some pith. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a good example of the style.

Cask gravity at Kent & East Sussex Railway BF 2016. Clear gold lasting white head. A little toffee but otherwise a standard golden ale. Bit of honey sweetness. Some grassy hop on the finish. Decent condition. Ok. Some dryness on the finish.
