Description
Based on a busy working farm in the picturesque village of Bradfield in the Peak District, Bradfield Brewery have gone from milking 100 cows a day to brewing over 100,000 pints of beer a week! The brewery sprung to life with completion of its first Brew on 26th April 2005 and the brews have carried on flowing ever since.

Trivia: As the family had enjoyed 2 generations of farming at Watt House Farm and not wanting the cows to feel left out, some of the beers are named after breeds of cattle.

Cask @ JDW The Rawson Spring, Hillsborough [200314] [From memory as notes lost] Caramel brown, white head. Aroma of soft caramel and sweet toffee. Taste same as aroma, some nice soft sweet toffee in here and a bit nutty as I recall. Palate was thin to medium, was a bit creamy. Finish of smooth soft toffee. Was OK and finished the half.

Cask @ JDW Bankers Draft, Sheffield [190314] [From memory as notes lost]
First beer of the Sheffield Trip so I remember this well. Black, dense tan head. Aroma of soft roast , chocolate, dark malts, some cereal. Similar flavours - good chocolate in it and nice smooth dark malts with that cereal edge. Medium body, smooth finish of soft roast and chocolate. Liked this one a lot. One of the best beers of the trip.

NWAF 24 Jan 13. 0 skum. Gråblå! Aroma av saft. Tynn saftsmak. Antydning til syrlighet i avslutninga - etter hvert. Ikke bra. Er dette et øl?

On cask at Sheaf View, Sheffield - Hazy yellow body, thin white head. Nose is a bit grassy and some mild sweet citrus. The taste has a sweetness to it, almost floral, with a decent creamy mouthfeel to it. A good one for a session.

Bizarre purple colour with silvery head. It’s earthy and sweet with a fruity, syrupy edge.
