Description
Based on a busy working farm in the picturesque village of Bradfield in the Peak District, Bradfield Brewery have gone from milking 100 cows a day to brewing over 100,000 pints of beer a week! The brewery sprung to life with completion of its first Brew on 26th April 2005 and the brews have carried on flowing ever since.
Trivia: As the family had enjoyed 2 generations of farming at Watt House Farm and not wanting the cows to feel left out, some of the beers are named after breeds of cattle.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, York. Dark copper-amber with a thick head. Has a robust maltiness that’s quite appealing, possibly due to its smoothish texture.

Peach o hoi. Peach color. Peach aroma. Peach flavor. So if the idea was to make a peach drink. Spot on! I can drink a peach drink. But would prefer a beer with some peach notes. His was the other way around. Together with a thin body and a soft carbonation….nope. Next please.

Cask at Steel City Beer Festival 2016. Russet brown body with white head. Nose is flowery, dusty hops, spicy grassy citrus. Don’t get the raspberry too much in any of this, but very dry.

Cask at Steel City Beer Festival 2016, Sheffield - Clear golden body, thin white head. Slight caramel nose, a little soft malt, slightly bitter on the tongue but nothing else to write home about. --- Beer merged from original tick of Poppy Ale on 28 Oct 2013 at 03:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Gravity at Steel City Beer Festival 2013, Sheffield - Another ordinary beer that disappointed. Reddy brown body, thin wispy white head, nose of maltesers and caramel. Taste had a metallic tinge to it that made me rather rush it after that. Unremarkable bitter.

Cask @ Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury. Pours clear amber, off-white head. Aroma of light fruit, caramel malt. Taste is smooth, almost creamy with a solid caramel malt character with soft fruit notes. Good bitter.
