Description
Based on a busy working farm in the picturesque village of Bradfield in the Peak District, Bradfield Brewery have gone from milking 100 cows a day to brewing over 100,000 pints of beer a week! The brewery sprung to life with completion of its first Brew on 26th April 2005 and the brews have carried on flowing ever since.

Trivia: As the family had enjoyed 2 generations of farming at Watt House Farm and not wanting the cows to feel left out, some of the beers are named after breeds of cattle.

Cask (Gravity) at Charlbury Beer festival 04-07-09 Pours amber/brown great clarity no head but possibly one of the best looking beers of the day when there were quite a few with a touch of haze. There is a touch of syrupy sweetness in this maybe honey as well, its malty, little perfumey, fruity, not bad. A6 A5 F6 P4 Ov12 3.3

[Cask at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, Castleton, Derbyshire] Feeble looking pale gold with a moderate white head. Very fizzy. Very thin mouthfeel. Eggy aroma. Sulphur and farmyard flavours dominate. Slight bitterness and dryness in the finish. Unpleasant - should be called Farmers Pee rather than Farmers Blonde.

Bottle, Dram Shop, Sheffield. Seriously evil looking dark brown pour (what else do you expect from a 6.66%er?!) with a vanishing tan head. Well balanced chocolate/malt aroma and flavour leading to a lingering luciferian bitter finish.

Cask @ Market Porter with Magic Dave6 and Mes. This was probably my least favorite of the Market Porter part of the crawl. The appearance is nice with the reddish brown color and a good off white head. However the strong sulfur aroma ruined it a lot for me. Fruity hints and malt are also present. The taste could be described as biting a cows ass and then drink a fruity malty beer .

Cask Conditioned at Market Porter, London
Mahogany color, thin head. There is a light aroma of fruits and earthy character. Quite dark caramel flavor and strong bitterness, with a bitter fruity touch, not very pleasant for me. Drinkable, but something is not for me here.

Bottle, Ale Cellar, Darlington. So this is what the Steelers guzzle after a good tear up down at the rink eh ? Pallid golden colour with a small white head. Nice hop/malt balance with a gentle fruitiness. Clean and perfectly drinkable with a dry, pleasantly lingering finish.
