Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks very simple. Beer not easy to find with the simple name "IPA". Beer in the glass with a small head. Mild hoppy aroma. Starts mild, malty, spicy. More and more fruity hoppy notes, some lemon, mild bitter notes. Finish well balanced, a bit moldy. Okay.

A World Cup Of Beers#20. ENGLAND. Picked the most patriotic themed can I could find in my local supermarket for the England last 32 match. A clear slightly paler golden coloured lager of the retro massed produced canned sort. Not really flavoursome, crisp and easy enough with its strength and dryish. Hopefully the football will be a good enough distraction from it whilst I sup. This one accompanied the England vs DR Congo fixture.

Bottle at 4% from Co-Op Moffat.
Tight foamy white head on a clear copper coloured body.
Malt, toffee & chocolate aroma.
Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a foamy cloying back.
Bonfire toffee, yeast, malt, spiced, caramel & berry tastes with a tangy bitter finish.
Quite a tasty piece for a supermarket traditional ale.

Bottle from the Co-operative.
Appearance - amber and clear with a fluffy off-white head.
Nose - caramel & syrup. Some brown bread.
Taste - more syrup and brown bread at the back.
Palate - light to medium bodied, sweet middle and finish.
Overall - I would not call this a Bitter as it lacks bitterness.
