Beer number #2 tried at the Skipton Beer Festival 2025. Session citrus ale with a citric bitterness that lingers. Clear light golden with a glow.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours almost black with a medium sized tan head and good lacing. The aroma has roasted malts and chocolate with some spicy hints. In the mouth it is slightly sweet with roasted malts, cinnamon, biscuits and hints of lactose. Some dark fruits also later on leading to a fruity finish. The is decent – nicely balanced

A beer I don't really need given I've been to the Bradford Beer Festival and subsequently the Salt Beer Factory. However, waiting for the train, this is a low bitterness, mostly hopped effort.

Beer Number 19 at the Bradford Beer Festival 2025. Clear depth through its strength, subduing a fruitiness to an extent. Its hoppiness remains quite bold.

Beer Number 3 at the Bradford Beer Festival 2025. Strongish but the treacle in here is a notable flavour, obviously providing a sweetness to the stout too.

Beer number ten at the Great British Winter Beer Festival 2025. Metallic style hoppiness here, so has a robustness about it. Easier texture in this respect.

1/3 cask pour at GBBF Winter. Pale golden pour, clear, frothy white head. Fruity aroma with tropical notes. Taste is a nice blend of biscuity malts, fruity hops and gentle bitterness. Really well balanced.
