Cask. Fat Cat, Sheffield. Pale gold. Light haze. Froth of white. Nose has bready grain. Pithy citrus. Orange oil. Touch of flora and minty herb. Taste is clean, pithy bitter. A little drying and tangy. Light body. Fine carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Really good cask golde.

Cask. Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Pump clip states 5.5%. Orange gold. Soft haze. Thick foam of white. Nose has ripe orange. Touch of pine sap. Bit of glue and thick piss. (Not really, but I find Simcoe hard to describe). Sticky sweet malts in the background. Smells great. Taste has an initial sticky sweetness, turning punchy, resinous bitter. Medium body. Pretty oily. Low carbonation. Pithy citrus bitterness to finish. Took me by surprise this one. Great beer.
