440ml can. Gluten Free. Hazy gold colour, foamy white head leaving lacing and aroma of zesty citrus, lemon-lime, hoppy. Taste is malt, grain, tangy, fruity, citrus zest, lemon-lime, grapefruit, pine and hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry hopped bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 30 June 2022) Amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty nose with bread, toast, caramel, apricots and earthy hops. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of bread, apricots, toast, orange peel and a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced bitter. Nice one.

Cask at Head of Steam, Huddersfield. Pours clear amber brown with an off white cap. Aroma: malt, biscuit, caramel, fruity. Taste: moderate sweet & bitter. Malt, caramel, quite fruity, semi-dry. Medium body with soft carbonation. Very reasonable trad bitter.

Bottle. A gift from Totnes. The person not the place. Clear deep chestnut red. Nicely thick beige foam. Nose has slightly rubbery malts. Ash. Some vinous notes. Taste is dry ashy and lightly bitter. Medium body. Foamy carbonation. Dry vinous finish.

500ml bottle as Hambleton Session Pale, bought at CO-OP, University union, Leeds. Good looking with a clear golden body, remaining white head and rings of lace down the glassware. Leafy hops on the nose, hints of ripe citrus as well. Balanced flavours of grass, leafy hops, ripe citrus, and a biscuit touch. Mid-bitter ending. Well crafted for the low abv. Like it. Hand pumped at Malto, Riccione, Italy. Pours copper-reddish, clear, with very fine white foam. Aroma is malty and earthy. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium bitter, very traditional English earthy. Final is still moderately bitter, and earthy.
