They are in the right direction, malty, not so hoppy, almost clean. Lacking a bit of body and mouthfeel but overall a good example of the style. Graeff Hamburg

Pours amber with a thin white head. Aroma of resinous hops. Taste has intensely woody resin notes, pine and cedar. Palate has lingering resin on the tongue with slight herbal elements. Good.

A surprisingly stand-up quality beer. Very full flavored and complex for only 5% while remaining true to classic style. A difficult beer to make well within their parameters, but they have done it. Graeff hamburg
