On tap at La Capsule Lille. Golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, light caramel and whiff of pine in the nose. Sweet malty, fruity, light piney and touch of caramel with some alcohol in the finish. Seems not so fresh.

Draught @ La Capsule, Lille. This has got to be the lightest coloured dubbel I've ever had, misty golden chestnut in appearance, off-white head. Some welcome mild chocolate shades on the nose and to taste, but lacks any kind of serious sweetness, no candy rock sugar used that I can tell, no Belgian dubbel yeast, and the addition of chocolate / cocoa is a strange one. Quite a mild flavour profile overall, but neither here nor there really. Most odd.

Draught @ Raising Hops, Lille. Pours a misty blonde, good white head. Aroma brings a welcome Belgian air, floral and light in tone. Flavour profile continues in a similar fashion, sessionable and balanced with a moreish Belgian yeast presence, gentle bitter close.
