Tap at The Craven Arms, Birmingham. My first from this brewery. Pours a murky creamy brown, almost like a very creamy chocolate milkshake with little head, no retention. I don't mind the colour, it's a point of difference, but it suggests a muddled flavour and that's exactly what this is. In fact it's a bit bland. Some pine, caramel, hint of grapefruit but nothing distinctive. Nothing wrong with the mouthfeel, good mid body and fine carbonation.

Third of a pint at the 32nd Shrewsbury Beer Festival on 26th September 2024. Murky orange, wispy white head. Grapefruit esters ruled the nose, taste also featured grapefruit flavours alongside other fruity notes, getting more bitter towards the finish, liked the name of the beer more than the actual beer!

Third of a pint at the 32nd Shrewsbury Beer Festival on 26th September 2024. Hazy, murky dull golden body, off-white head, looked moody! Tropical fruits but on the 'dank' side, didn't take to it for some reason.

Cloudy, near murky gold with a frothy white head and a tropical fruit aroma. Soft, smooth and fruity up front, just a little hop kick and a hint of funk before a dry bitter finish

440ml can. Pours pitch black, solid off-white head. Aroma brings fresh roast, coffee, dark malt. Continues to taste with a confident bitter roast character, prominent espresso coffee with some dark chocolate notes. Quite flavoursome.
