The Brew By Numbers range features a handy naming convention, where the first number refers to the beer's style and the second number refers to the beer's recipe.
Initially a small scale brewer who first brewed in October 2012 based on Southwark Bridge Road, London. Moved to their current location, where a 10BBL plant is used, in June 2013.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the local Sainsbury’s. Pours clear, black-brown with a bubbly, beige head. Light-medium sweet flavour with rich chocolatey malts, some subtle tangy dark fruits, tobacco, earth, raisins, black coffee. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Rounded finish, some scorched earth, bitter coffee, silky chocolate. Tasty.

ABV: 8.0%. Hazy medium yellow - caramel colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel - marmalade, moderate to heavy hoppy, fruity hops, marmalade hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, fruity hops, marmalade hops, minerals, sweet fruit, canned mandarin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20240324]

Can from Sainsbury's Supermarket, Salford. Hazy golden-orange with a small head. Hoppy and juicy, although perhaps the former subdues the latter somewhat. Nevertheless a sweetish grapefruit flavour and aroma is easily found.

Can at home picked up from BBNo Bermondsey. A clear pale golden yellow coloured pour with a lively white froth that fades. Aroms is nice zesty orange, fants, vibrant blood orange, straw, Flavour is composed of light grains, zesty orange, grass, tangerine, watermelon, light mineral. Pretty crushable. Palate is light, fine carbonation. dry finish.

Can at home picked up from Brw by numbers bermondsey. A clear pale gold yellow coloured pour with a lively short-lived loose white head. Aroma is stale bread, zippy citrus, urinal cakes, light grass. Flavour is composed of light grains, hay, lemongrass, citrus, chalky finish. Palate is light crisp, chalky, fine carbonation, quite refreshing, mineral finish.
