The Brew By Numbers range features a handy naming convention, where the first number refers to the beer's style and the second number refers to the beer's recipe.
Initially a small scale brewer who first brewed in October 2012 based on Southwark Bridge Road, London. Moved to their current location, where a 10BBL plant is used, in June 2013.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A cloudy amber pour with a loose white head; stone fruit aroma; peachy nectarine taste; and a clean finish. Very drinkable.

Can from Tesco Supermarket, Salford. Golden with some haziness and a small head. Quite dry in texture, its quite gritty in its fruitiness, so not stated in this respect, although this is still its underlying taste. Fairly strong tasting.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy orange colour. Generous aroma of pink grapefruit and mango. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Some syrup, lots of grapefruit and mango. Warming mid bitter finish.

1103284, Brew By Numbers / Emperor's 421, Imperial Stout - Cherry & Chocolate, Brew By Numbers, 8, 3, 8, 3, 16, 3.8, Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Bottle Apostle, South Hackney. Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour with notes of bittersweet chocolate, lightly tangy dark cherries, some roast and earthy bitterness. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Mellow warmth to finish, more chocolate, cherry, ashy roast, scorched earth. Good stuff overall., 5/8/2024 8:02:09 PM

440ml can from M&S in Kew Retail Park, Richmond, UK. Head medium, white, good retention. Colour is blonde, hazy. Aroma is tangerine, lemon, pineapple. Taste is medium malty base, tangerines, lemon, yellow berries, nice balanced bitterness, medium carbonation, very refreshing, enjoyed for sure.
