Description
To create new and unique beer styles that challenge people's perception of beer. In short: to create true Craft Beers.

The Brew By Numbers range features a handy naming convention, where the first number refers to the beer's style and the second number refers to the beer's recipe.

Initially a small scale brewer who first brewed in October 2012 based on Southwark Bridge Road, London. Moved to their current location, where a 10BBL plant is used, in June 2013.

Pale yellow, slightly hazy pour with a fluffy (and lasting) white head. Aroma is quite good: malt/grain, citrus peel, grapefruit, lemon. Taste (malt/grain, grapefruit, grass, herbs) could be stronger given the nice aroma, even if it is an AF.

[44cl can from Tesco, Camberley.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a fast fading white head; tropical fruit aroma; crisp tropical fruit taste; then a pithy citrus bitterness with some lingering pineapple. Not the IPA I was expecting.

[44cl can from Tesco, Camberley as Brew by Numbers 5 Citra Mosiac at 6.2% ABV.] A cloudy amber pour with a loose white head; sweet resinous aroma with traces of grapefruit and malt; smooth and creamy in the mouth with some oily, spicy hops to start then citrus peel; followed by a raw alcoholic warmth in the stomach and lingering chewy caramel malts and grapefruit bitterness. An assertive IPA.

Can from Tesco Supermarket, Salford. Golden with some haziness and a small head. Quite dry in texture, its quite gritty in its fruitiness, so not stated in this respect, although this is still its underlying taste. Fairly strong tasting.
