About
To create new and unique beer styles that challenge people's perception of beer. In short: to create true Craft Beers.

The Brew By Numbers range features a handy naming convention, where the first number refers to the beer's style and the second number refers to the beer's recipe.

Initially a small scale brewer who first brewed in October 2012 based on Southwark Bridge Road, London. Moved to their current location, where a 10BBL plant is used, in June 2013.

Moved to a much larger site in Greenwich in 2021 running down the Bermondsey operation and closing it within a couple of years.

Incey wincey can bought at Hogs Back shop. Aroma has sweet coconut and less sweet stone fruit. Hazy pale orange juice orange. Thin translucent white head soon reduces to a band of lacing. Medium bitter - stone fruit and light resin. Followed by a fruity syrupy streak. The resin and a boozy edge close. Medium-heavy bodied. Oily. Flat carbonation. Fruity boozy stuff.

Can from the dry drinker. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light orange and herbs. Taste is more of the same. Thin finish. Doesn't really deliver on the blood orange promise.

Can. A teeny tiny can, like a white wine thing from Marks or whatever. Interesting size. A mild haze on this slightly pale gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, maybe a bit more than a semi, good fine carbonation. Fluffy if slightly thin malts, a respectable level of creamy malts sweetness. A nice crisp hop delivery, crisp pine. Crisp citrus, with a nice peachy tropical fruits. Nibbly hop spice on the finish. Good dipa served small!

Can, 4.8%. Refreshing bready and fruity aroma. Hazy golden colour. Big stable plasticky white head. The flavour is nicely malty. Good mouthfeel, and therefore not so authentic, I guess. Low bitterness. Clean and nice.
