Description
To create new and unique beer styles that challenge people's perception of beer. In short: to create true Craft Beers.

The Brew By Numbers range features a handy naming convention, where the first number refers to the beer's style and the second number refers to the beer's recipe.

Initially a small scale brewer who first brewed in October 2012 based on Southwark Bridge Road, London. Moved to their current location, where a 10BBL plant is used, in June 2013.

Bottle thanks to Tom from BBNo. It pours hazy pale yellow with a thick white head. The nose is fresh tangy orange, lemon, marmalade and hay. The taste is zesty orange, wheat, straw, hay, earth, light spice, nice level of bitterness and underlying sweetness with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Zesty, refreshing, drinkable and just damn tasty. This is BBNo’s best work to date. Delicious!

Keg at CBC, Clerkenwell. It pours near black with a tiny white head. The nose is rich-roasted, espresso, coffee liqueur, burnt caramel, treacle and cocoa. The taste is all about the coffee, roasted malt, light acidity, toast, earth, treacle, touch of liquorice and light alcohol with a bitter finish. Medium body and fine/low carbonation. Not a whole depth of flavour going on, this is dominated by coffee. Still an enjoyable beverage (for a coffee lover anyway!).

Cloudy gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Mild minerals. Fresh dry cucumber. Brief floral note in the mid. Finishes dry with a fruity tangy vibe that must be the juniper I guess. Interesting beer but a bit dry.

33cl Bottle from Utobeer, thanks Manon! Hazy orange colour, dense off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, stone fruits, light soapy, nice sweet fruity and floral hops, light citrus, sugar. Flavour is medium-sweet, stone fruits, mango, tea leaves, smooth bitter fruity hoppy finish. Light-bodied, smoft mouthfeel. I could drink loads of this stuff. Tasted more like an APA or IPA than a golden ale imo.
