Established in 1983, Old Mill Brewery is a small independent family owned brewery, housed in an 18th century former corn mill and maltings at Snaith in East Yorkshire. It is equipped with a highly specified, modern brewing plant, Old Mill Brewery has retraced the footsteps of the traditional regional brewer.

Dedicated to producing a range of quality ‘real ales’, not only for the local market, but for a national audience too, the company with 150 years combined experience in brewing is recognized as one of the leading lights of the recent revival of the brewing art.

30/11/2019. Cask at the Dove Street Inn Winter Beer Festival. Pours clear mid brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, sweet toffee, hops, fruit, nut and rye bread. Medium sweetness and light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, soft carbonation. Very drinkable.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - thanks!]. Slightly cloudy. dark yellow-ish, golden colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Fruity hoppy and sweet-ish, slightly biscuity, oaty malty aroma, notes of yellow apple, pear, a touch of lychee. Taste is sweet-ish malty and fruity hoppy, slightly diluted notes of yellow apple and pear, hints of oats; quite watery throughout.
