Still no snowstorms yet this winter, no snow at all despite living in the Pennines. Session golden coloured golden style ale, nice water, easy strength, very good-looking.

Handpull cask at the King's Head, Leicester. Dark, brownish gold. Murky with a small loose off-white head. Sweet, floral aroma with light tropical fruits, linen, persimmon. Taste is a bit muddled with a tongue-coating malty sweetness along with some jammy fruit hops. Medium body, little carbonation. Pretty good all on all.
