Can shared by Marcus. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma of guava and other tropicals. Seems dankish. Med + body. Flavor is citrus/guava and some other tropicals. Sort of dank/juicy. Not sweet; nicely, intensely bitter for me. Wow stuff.

Pours a very hazy, orange-yellow, with minimal head. Aroma has lots of citrus and tropical fruit and more than a little basement dankness/sour washcloth smell. Flavor is citrus and tropical fruit with a pronounced alcohol burn (i.e., alcohol content is not particularly well-hidden), that results in a very bitter finish.

500 ml bottle (2016, 13.8% ABV) from an IP trade with richiesd @home. Pours thick, black. Brownish head with short retention, just a small ring. Aroma is sweet, molasses, chocolate, roasted malts, light fruit. Retronasal it's sweet, chocolate, bourbon/whiskey, vanilla, fudge, hint of raisin. Flavor is heavy sweet, but balanced out by roast. Strong alcohol feel. Full bodied, really rich. Long finish. Sweet, but really nice!

Poured from a bottle. Aroma is really nice with lots of chocolate notes and hints of roast. Moderate coffee and vanilla notes. Light bourbon and alcohol spice notes. Pours black with a medium small, thick, mocha head that recedes steadily to the edges where it lingers slightly. No lacing and moderately long legs. Flavor is rather sweet with lots of chocolate and light roast notes. Quite a bit of coffee with nice vanilla notes. Medium light bourbon notes with faint oak. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice beer. Nice coffee and vanilla notes.
