Duncan Sambrook founded Sambrook’s Brewery in 2008 when there were just five breweries operating in London. With his vision of bringing brewing back into the heart of London, Duncan pulled ex-brewer David Welsh out of retirement and back into his dungarees and wellies. To

Since 2008 we have been brewing beer in Battersea, but after 12 years on our current site we have decided to relocate a mile up the road to Wandsworth Town. Later in 2020 we will be brewing beer on the site of the Ram Brewery where we will launch our new tap room and visitor centre.

# 2851; 4/2022. Roasty, fruity and earthy aroma. Cloudy copper body, lovely lacing beige head. Roasty, bready, fruity, honey, herbal; sweeter finish. Good beer - seems to me more like red ale than bitter. Pint, hand-pulled, pub, Lincoln (Lincolnshire, England).

Cask at the White Swan JDW, Solihull. Poured a clear reddish amber colour with an everlasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, light toffee, dry, light floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Hand-pulled third of a pint; 6th April 2022, local Spoon's. Nice looking beer, red with a beige topping; came in good condition but I didn't really take to it, citrussy and yet also malty. It just seemed at odds with it's self.

Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a reddish brown with a small cream head. Some pine and generic citrus in the aroma. Slightly watery in the mouth, with berry fruits, malts and a hint of toffee. Finish is fairly sweet. Not a worldbeater, but a decent swiggable beer.

[Cask at the Queen Hotel(JDW), Aldershot.] A reddish chestnut pour with a ring of cream coloured head; weak citrus aroma; rather watery in the mouth with some orange and biscuity malts; then a dry bready finish with a touch of spice. Rather disappointing.
