Cask at Hole in the Wall, Waterloo. Clear bright amber. Thing foamy translucent white head primarily sticks to the rim. Aroma has a slight citrus tang to the chewy malty nutty core. It's more interesting in terms of flavour. Tangy citrus with caramel and spice. Doughy malts. Peripheral slightly off spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Twiggy but somehow satisfying.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Red with a beige head. Toffee and brown bread. Quite a bit of pine with a smattering of red berries. Nice in small quantities, but I'm not the biggest fan of pine in beer and I wouldn't have wanted a full pint.

Cask @ Kings Stores, London. Clear dark gold/amber with a small white head. Aroma of marzipan and flowers. Taste of citrus fruits, almonds, biscuits, floral hops, malts and marzipan. Low to medium bitterness. Low carbonation. Unfortunately not that enjoyable.

Keg at The Hercules, Lambeth. Hazy light gold. Clear-opaque more opaque towards the bottom of the glass. Thick foamy white head. Aromawise it has a light citrus tamg to the sweet fruity whiff. Underlying porridge. Flavourwise there's initial bitterness - resin and citrus. This is followed by a sweet stone fruit and coconut streak. However it's all a bit underpowered. Light bodied. Relatively thin. Soft limp fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Bland stuff. They were conservative with the hops.

Pint cask at the Hereford arms Gloucester Road. A clear golden coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, buttery bread, diacetyl, caramel. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, caremmel, buttered bread, twiggy malts.. Very bland and meh. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, mellow cask condition.. Boring AF.

Cask at The Lord Northbrook, Lee. Nose is honey, orange marmalade & peach. Similar approach in the flavour. Fruity bittersweet aftertaste.
