Since 2008 we have been brewing beer in Battersea, but after 12 years on our current site we have decided to relocate a mile up the road to Wandsworth Town. Later in 2020 we will be brewing beer on the site of the Ram Brewery where we will launch our new tap room and visitor centre.

Caramel, bitter, unfortunately I find it unpleasant, not a fan.

Can from Beer 52 – drank at home. Pours golden yellow with a large but transient white head. The aroma is slightly sweet with hints of berry fruits and herbs. In the mouth it is distinctly bitter. Old school hops to the fore, but some floral traces too. Flavour has grains, oranges and biscuits plus hints of lemon and pith. Finish is slightly dry. This is very nice indeed – for once an IPA that lives up to its name !

Keg draught at the brewery tap. Light to mid-yellowish gold, hazy with a full off-white head and good lacing. Chalky citrus aroma, some soap. Sweet taste, more citrus and some saccharine notes, again a bit soapy. Finish is quite bitter, almost a bit medicinal. Full body with carbonation on the low side. Drinkable but I am not 100% sure about this one.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A pale golden amber pour with a peaky cream head; fruity aroma; tart berry fruit taste with a caramel malt body and a fresh leafy hop bitterness giving a dry finish. Very drinkable.

330ml can via Beer52: BBE May 2024. Drank at home on 27th June 2023, poured into one of those new shaped IPA glasses. Clear and clean golden amber body, decent white crown that lasted a while. I liked the blend of malty sweetness and the hop fruity bitterness, some citrus notes but you can't have everything I suppose.

Cask at the canary wharf JDW. A light hazed pale yellow straw coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is soft grains, bready, orange rind, leady citrus. Flavour is composed of nice pale grains, bready, leafy citrus, orange rind. Really easy going ,very crushable. Palate is soft, light grainy, good cask condition. Nice.

Pours an almost clear golden colour with a small, mostly lasting, tight foamy white head. The aroma is floral and fruity; citrus notes. A moderately sweet taste, sweet malt, light biscuit, lemon and grapefruit flavours with some bitterness in the finish.
