Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a tiny, rough white head. Sweet caramellish aroma. Light body, rather low in carbonation, sweet and caramellish with a peachy note. Subtle bitterness. Has a slight tartness to it. 271212

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 27th November 2012. Slightly hazy amber with thin whitish head and plenty of lacing. Richly fruity aroma with summer berries. Vibrant berry fruits dominate a richly fruity and floral in-mouth bouquet. The fruity sweetnes undergoes a transition into a bittersweet finish. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body. Nice dessert novelty ale.

Half- pint, cask at The Lamb, the classic Young’s pub in Bloomsbury. Very dark body with a deep ruby tint. Tiny off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, wood and dried fruits. Pretty similar taste profile containing resinous hops, wood, earthy malts and bittersweet, dark chocolate to the ending. Nice (London, 26.11.2012).

Half-pint, shared with Finn, from gravicask. Close to clear golden body. Naked surface. Sweaty hops with hints of fresh citrus to the nose. Hoppy vibe to the taste profile with resin, wheat and spiced fruits. Bittersweet tail. Refreshing (Redhill Beer Festival, 02.11.2012).

On tap @ the Haymarket. Pours a light toffee colour with a nicely proportioned head. The nose has apples, toffee and ginger. The taste is of creamy toffee and butterscotch. The palate is medium bodied and rich textured with a decent finish.
