Bottle. A gift from Totnes. The person not the place. Deep cola brown. Nice swirly beige foam. Good sweet and semi savoury smoke here. Bit of a bonfire toffee thing, in fact. Fruit and nut. Light vinous edge. Taste is semi sweet with a tang of fruit. Possibly a tad thin overall but with a tangy smoky finish itโs got sank double sharp.

Cask at the Duke William Lincoln. Pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are citrus and red berry fruity slight sweet. Light to medium body.

[50cl bottle picked up in Lincoln.] A gushing pour leaving a slightly hazy amber body with a loose white head; lemony citrus aroma; smooth and creamy in the mouth with a very sweet lemony taste with a little pithy bitterness and some artificial sweeteners in the finish. Iโm unimpressed, but I guess they are pushing the envelope a bit - in the alcopop direction.

[50cl bottle bought in Lincoln city centre.] A slightly hazy straw coloured pour with a thick white head and heavy carbonation; bready aroma with a hint of lemon; grainy body with a light lemony taste; and a gentle grassy bitterness. Certainly Kolsch-like.

[50cl bottle picked up in the centre of Lincoln.] A slightly hazy amber pour with a tight cream coloured head; light malty aroma; sweet biscuity malt taste; then a peppery bitterness. Quite watery but refreshing. A nice summery traditional bitter.

Cask at the Bury St. Edmunds Beer Festival with Grumbo and ITFCDan. Aroma is tropical fruit, citrus, straw, grapefruit and mango. Decent to thin body and light carbonation. Bitter finish.

500ml bottle from Chuckling Cheese Company, Skegness. Cloudy dark gold to amber colour, small white head with some retention. Aroma and taste is caramel, bread, pear and light citrus. Down to earth but decent flavour. Nice body and carbonated for 3.9%.
