Description
Three Brothers Brewing Company is the vision of Kit Dodd, to start up and run a microbrewery in his home town of Eaglescliffe, County Durham. After brewing for 5 years, Kit decided the time was right to step out and make his vision a reality. Along with his older brother Dave and brother in law Chris, they turned an empty shell industrial unit into a modern and efficient brewery, capable of producing 16000 pints per week.
What makes Three Brothers Brewing Company different? Many breweries have the ability to make great craft beer, some can make a variety of great beers but with a small pilot plant we have ability to trial and perfect our recipes to ensure we only supply our very best. Add in Kitโs chemical engineering degree and our extensive range of quality control equipment, we can ensure the consistency and quality of our beers remain at the highest standard.
It is the blend of passion, experience, innovation and style that makes the beer we produce competitively tasty, refreshingly different and always of the highest quality.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2023, day 1 - London. Pours clear pale gold with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet with pleasant lemongrass notes, some citrus pith, straw, mellow bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good balance to finish, more pithy lemon, grass, lean pale malts. Sound.

Cask at EBF Nov 23. Aroma has damp resin and grains. Citrus hints. Vaguely opaque gold. Frothy white head. Medium bitter. Not so much resin but quinine. A hint of fruit. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Bitter about being basic IPA.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A glossy black pour with a ring of beige head; aroma of berries and coffee; smooth body with both a grainy and milky texture, and some rich roasted malts; then a bitter finish with coffee grounds and a touch of chocolate. A solid porter.

Keg @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Pale hazy golden with a head. Crisp citrus tropical fruit in both aroma and taste. Its hoppy notes come across slightly dry. Has a touch of pine in aroma.

Cask @ Nightjar, Hebden Bridge. Extremely hazy golden with a creamy-frothy head. Crisp with an understated fruitiness, although a somewhat smooth texture makes this quite a pleasant experience.
