Pours a slightly hazy orange golden color, topped with a big, foamy white head, pretty lasting. A bit grassy with more noticeable lemong rass, citrusy. Quite bittery start, hrbal feel as well in the lasting aftertaste. SLight lemony touch. Medium light body.

Keg at the brewery . A translucent golden yellow coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is mouldy tropical fruits, mango, earthy tropical fruits. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tropical fruits, mango, peach, sticky orange . Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, semi drying finish.

Bottle from Hopology, Nottingham. Slight hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma fruity hop with Apricot. Taste light sweet to medium bitter finish.

Cask (gravity) @ 31th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2014, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Wild Card Pale Ale ].Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, fruity, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141205]

Bottle at the Bedford Brewhouse and Kitchen. Mid gold, slightly hazy. At this point I’m worried that I’ve bagged myself a basic UK golden repackaged as craft. Nice aroma. The Citra gives it a lift. Vague nectarine and orange peel notes. Slightly lager-y bittersweet taste. Bitter finish, a tiny bit too much acidity. The carbonation can’t hide the thin body. Somewhere between OK and pretty good.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Offie & Toffee. Pours totally clear yellow-gold, highly effervescent, with a frothy, white head. Pleasant citrusy hops in the aroma, some tangerine, lemon rind, pale malts. Light sweet flavour with notes of biscuits, more lightly sweet citrus, subtle rindy bitterness, hints of pine needles. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, with more lemon rind, biscuity pale malts, light straw, tangerine and pithy grapefruit. Lovely little stuff.
