Bottle from Morrisons, although the red and blue label has no indication it is a contract brew from a supermarket. Pale gold with a small creamy head. Has a fairly smooth texture otherwise it is a low-grade pilsner.

500 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Rick. Deep golden with a thin white head. Malty slightly hoppy nose but not so hoppy as to justify the name IPA. Taste is light as well as the mouthfeel. Quite a decent but forgettable beer.

50cl bottle from my local Morrisons. A watery pale amber colour with a fast fading white head and medium carbonation; sweet cereal aroma; watery in the mouth with a corn syrup taste;and a mealy finish with only the faintest trace of damp cardboard. More like a south east asian lager than anything claiming to be Czech.

50 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Rick. Clear chestnut red with a thin off-white head. Faint malty aroma with some caramel. Taste is mostly malts and caramel with virtually no hops. Prickly carbonation. Really short aftertaste, after swallowing itโs almost instantly gone.

440ml can. A rather lively widget pour, presumably designed to be served sub-zero, resulting in an amber body with a thick creamy head; the aroma is biscuity with a trace of grassy hop; in the mouth itโs smooth, but with quite a coarse, grainy texture, the taste is sweet with some butterscotch; and the finish is sadly missing entirely.

440ml can at 2.8% ABV. Amber with a fast fading white head; rather artificial estery aroma; sweet caramel taste with some cardboard hops to finish, leaving a sour aftertaste. Best avoided.

Can. Copper coloured with a thick frothy head. Perhaps the best aspect of this beer is how it pours, as a smooth bitter it settles how one should in the glass. Sadly itโs very much a below par malty effort with a medium-high bitterness.
