Bottle from Morrisons, Banbury, Oxon, consumed 17-11-09 Pours with a crystal clear clarity, amber in colour with a thin white head. Touch of boiledness on the nose, but there are some hops. Taste is not too bad at all, lets say it exceeded expectations, reasonably hoppy, dry on the finish, leafy bitterness on roof and back of mouth, some biscuity malts show, quite reasonable. 500ml bottle from Morrisons. Gold orange clear colour a bit like well I don’t know what. Thick white head. Artificial fruit aroma of something like a summer fruits cordial. It is frankly, and utterly rubbish. God knows what this is supposed to be. A bitter with some fruit syrup dumped into it. Really disgusting. 3 mouthfeels and then a drain pour.

Bottle from Morrisons Hatch End. An amber coloured pour with a smallish head. Caramel flavours, fruity, malty and a hint of hops. Alcohol very well hidden. A surprisingly tasty ale, very drinkable indeed.

Bottle picked up in Morrisons, Tewksbury, 01-03-09 and consumed the same day Pours brown with an off white head. Aroma is quite sweet, artificially so. Tastes too sweet and yes maybe it is nutty but syrupy as well, tastes pasteursied too me, not impressed. A4 A4 F3 P2 OV7 2.0

500ml bottle from Morrisons. Gold, pasteurised. The pasteurisation just makes it thin. Toasty notes on aroma, some yeast. The finish builds with good stinging sherbert hop finish. Quite aggressive. Maybe a touch of diacetyl. Good toast good hop but the rest is pretty poor.

[500ml bottle from Morrisons.] Chestnut brown with a thin cream head. Aroma of dusty hops - reminds me of a typical Greene King bottle; strange vegetable and metallic feel, more cabbage and sprouts than chestnuts. Slightly peppery hops lead to a reasonably bitter finish. Not something I would seek out again.

[50cl bottle.] Gold with a thin white head - grassy hop aroma with some tropical fruit - bitter lemon to start then developing sweeter fruity flavours before a bitter finish. Very pleasant.
