Can. Very dark brown with a good cm of light tan head. Aroma of choc-malt, light roast, spices. Smooth textured and just medium bodied. A little brioche sweetness, then firmer than guessed roast and a nice ping of bitterness, citrus peel and pepper. Enough going on and very drinkable.

Can. Black with a good cm of light tan head. Roasty aroma with coffee and citrus- orange and lemon. So it tastes. A fair bit of body and nicely smooth. Maybe there’s a little more citrus than totally fits but not by much.

Can. Black, a 2cm light tan head. Aroma of kumquat, mocha, nectarine, light bread. I say - are there hints of boreal forest needles? Mayhap a soupçon. Medium bodied, medium low carbonation. Bread and mocha, little sweetness. Citrus then stone fruit and pine before an easing into pretty strong bitterness. Very nice. Dangerously drinkable.

Pitch black color. Sweet dark chocolate with some dark chocolate and roasted malt character sticky molasses. Low carbonation and bitterness. It’s nice but at no point is it amazing from palate to depth it’s good. How is this is 4.4 is beyond me

500ml bottle from someone in Melbourne. Not sure where. Poured almost black in colour with a thin broken off-white head. The aroma is roasty, peaty. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, warm boozy, light dark chocolate, liquorice bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Can. Unclear pale amber with a cm of white head. Aroma of gooseberry, under-ripe nectarines, Pine Lime Splice. Sweet with more tropical & ripe stonefruit in the taste, some resinous notes towards the moderately bitter finish. Pretty good, wouldn't have minded a it drier.

(Can) Pours hazy golden with big, rather loose, white head. Nice aroma with lemon (lemon sherbet candy? or maybe some tropical fruit notes), bread and grassy notes. Medium body with plenty of carbonation. Nice taste with good balance. There’s plenty of hops through the palate, giving peppery tastes and a good bitter finish. There’s some citrus at the start. The malt is pretty well hidden with some light biscuit and bread hints. Very pleasant, although seems to have deviated some way from a Pilsner style.
