500ml bottle from someone in Melbourne. Not sure where. Poured almost black in colour with a thin broken off-white head. The aroma is roasty, peaty. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, warm boozy, light dark chocolate, liquorice bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Can. Unclear pale amber with a cm of white head. Aroma of gooseberry, under-ripe nectarines, Pine Lime Splice. Sweet with more tropical & ripe stonefruit in the taste, some resinous notes towards the moderately bitter finish. Pretty good, wouldn't have minded a it drier.

(Can) Pours hazy golden with big, rather loose, white head. Nice aroma with lemon (lemon sherbet candy? or maybe some tropical fruit notes), bread and grassy notes. Medium body with plenty of carbonation. Nice taste with good balance. There’s plenty of hops through the palate, giving peppery tastes and a good bitter finish. There’s some citrus at the start. The malt is pretty well hidden with some light biscuit and bread hints. Very pleasant, although seems to have deviated some way from a Pilsner style.

Can. Cloudy golden amber with ~ a cm of white head. New hop but familiar aromas - maybe pine needles are more prominent than citrus, peach and berries. And then maybe the peach is a little further forward than expected in the taste. Fruity but not very sweet with the modest bitterness that the current oeuvre of WCIPA seems to feature.

(Can) Pours slightly hazy golden with good white head. Lovely tropical fruity aroma with mango, notes of passionfruit, plus some notes of pine and hints of bread. Medium body, well carbonated. Taste has plenty of hops from start to finish, that give a peppery, herbal bitterness. There’s some tangy fruit at the start, and notes of light caramel in the mid palate. The peppery bitter finish is long. Good drinking.

(Can) Pours black with good light brown head. Good aroma of dark roast malt with herbal notes. Medium body, smooth with plenty of fine bright carbonation. Good taste too. Rich and dark. Plenty of dark chocolate, some dark toffee / coffee bitterness. Some dried fruit and rye notes. Alcohol not apparent in taste. Very nice.

(Can) Pours clear golden amber with big off-white head. Lovely aroma with plenty of caramel and fruity candy notes. Nice mouthfeel. Medium body with plenty of soft fluffy carbonation. Great taste, albeit rather in the sweet side; maybe not unreasonable given the stated aim. There’s a creaminess and tangy notes I am having trouble placing - they are fruity, but more like fruit candy. No bitterness. It all works nicely together.

(Can) Pours clear golden amber with good white head. Nice aroma with bread, light caramel, some fruity notes and maybe a hint of honey. Medium body with bright, slightly coarse carbonation. Good taste. Caramel malt and herbal hops. Reasonable peppery bitterness in the finish. Pretty straightforward but pleasant enough.

(Can) Pours slightly hazy golden with small off-white head. Lovely tropical fruit aroma - mango, passionfruit- with notes of pine. Medium body with good carbonation. Great taste too. Tropical fruit up front, with plenty of toffee malt quickly joining in, and a steadily growing peppery bitterness. Very nice.
