330ml can @ Chez Sophie. Pours hazy amber, good off-white head. Aroma has big fruity orange. Taste continues with ostensible crystal malt and big fruity orange, caramel and apricot hoppage. Some grapefruit bitterness. Decent IPA.

330ml can into shaker. Pours a hazy golden with two finger white head. Lots of tiny bubbles ascend. Fresh, fruity, earthy hops on the nose. Zingy mouthfeel, taste and finish are a bit subdued compared to the nose but certainly tasty and sessionable. Nice one!

Thought this was going to be my Liechtenstein tick, but nah. Can. Hazy gold with a fluffy and loose white head. Aroma of mango, lime, pineapple, grapefruit. Light bodied for nearly 5%. Highish carbonation. Some crackery malt but really all fruit. A little pepper too. Bitterness seems a fair bit lower than their pale ale, but it’s enough to provide a finish. Nice hop aromas are not enough to make a beer.

From a 330ml bottle on 9/8/2016. Pours a deep golden with a small to medium head. Has a lovely floral, tropical aroma with lychee and passionfruit. Taste wise, it’s a real sweetie, with lots of citrus, stone and tropical fruit (mandarin, apricot and mango), and a hint of strawberry, which is set off against a background of light biscuity and bready malt. The hops are firm, but not overwhelming, and balance the sweetness out nicely. Full bodied with average carbonation. Damn this is good. I will certainly be havng more. The ratings for this on here so far are criminally low imo. Just lovely.

In magical nitro-can (McCoppins, Fitzroy): I’m a sucker for a bit of can technology. And this works a treat. Replicates a tap-poured ESB perfectly. Lovely malt-driven ale with hints of butterscotch. Pillowy joy.

2014 and 2015 versions. Dark brown, bit of beige foam. Luscious dark fruits. Some liquorice and fig fruits. Taste is full on, smooth but very very flavourful. It’s not even barrel aged, truly a treat Roast and smooth. Long bitter and dry linger in the finish.
