Can from their Melbourne Taproom (now _that's_ an interesting development). Fairly hazy orange with a good inch of white head. Loads of passionfruit in the aroma with pineapple and oranges, crackers. Very sweet with lots of breakfast juice-like fruit before bitterness struggles to charge through at the end. I would have traded a little of the fruit for a bit drier and bitterer end but it's good stuff.

330ml can at School of Animals, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a big, lasting, frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, big orange tangerine citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, fresh, juicy, light tart tangerine, light floral woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Juicy indeed!

330ml can from School of Animals, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear yellow golden blonde colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, lager yeast, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a somewhat light, smooth, malt, yeasty, light melon mango, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. One of the few lagers that I could drink regularly. A little light on the bitterness, but those subtle fruit flavours and smooth finish make Divine Wind very easy to drink.

The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, rich, gluey malt, juicy tropical citrus fruit, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Nicely balanced. Fine for a short session! Really doesn’t taste like 7% at all.

Pint at Portsider in Port Chalmers. Hoppy oatmeal stout, nose is roasty coffee with light chocolate. Black with a medium, heavy lacing tan head. Flavor is like 90% dark chocolate, lots of bitter with only a light bit of sweetness. Good thing I love chocolate above 60%!

Can. Opaque orange with a towering white head. Unusual citrus aroma - pink grapefruit but pithy and earthy- lighter tropical bubblegum, crackers, A bit too fizzy. Fruity but dryish with some spice and resin towards a finish that’s both a little bitter and astringent. As it sometimes goes, hop aromatics appeal more in the aroma but don’t sit so comfortably once you start drinking. But good.
