Bottle at bottleshare, thanks explosivedog: pours black with a light brown head. Aroma is butterscotch, wood, bourbon, dark chocolate. Taste is somewhat sweet, dry, woody, loads of dark chocolate, booze is well covered. Well balanced.

Can. Somewhat cloudy orange, no head. Funky aroma of old citrus, some boot polish, twigs. Fairly light bodied, maybe a touch of lacto slipperiness. Mellow apricot, grain, citrus that's not that obviously an addition, a gentle but persistent sourness. Nice beer - enlivening, coherent.
