440ml can in the Wrekin Inn, Wellington Shropshire on 20th September 2022. Not really my sort of thing, sour fruits in a cloudy dull orange body, tart raspberry front.

Aromas of pine, citrus, apple and mango. A very crisp, clear flavour with a nice body but the alcohol is just a bit too much.

Third, beer flight at Brew York in Leeds. Patchy white head, hazy amber body, full lacing. Promising aromas of grainy malts and citrus. Rather fresh taste of grapefruit, bread-like malts beneath. Fair fruity bitterness to the ending. Soft mouthfeel. Pretty good. (Rating no. 21900) (Leeds 06.07.2022).

Australian version brewed at Rocky Ridge. Can. Hazy yellowish orange with a cm of white head. Aroma of pineapple, passionfruit, some wintery oranges, chewed crackers. Taste is fruity but only moderately sweet. Slight chalky mouthfeel. Low bitterness but it's dry enough at the end to be refreshing. Is this an IPA in any sense? I dunno but it's a pleasant quaffer.

Can, Milkhead. Brewed somewhere in Australia but I can't read the white text on the yellow background that looks — by remarkable coincidence — just like a jar of of Vegemite. Very dark brown with a quickly fading tan head. Aroma of strongish roasted malt, chocolate, Vegemite. Bittersweet, roasty, umami, salty. Chocolate yes, brownie not so much. There's a fashion for upping the salt content of desserts to where it's a feature, and this does just that. Not bad at all.
