Cask at the Market Porter. Deep reddish copper in colour with a thin beige head; rich aroma of roasted malts; silky smooth, with a deeply roasted malt flavour and some hints of chocolate and smoke; the finish is strongly bitter with some citric hops and is prolonged and dry. A satisfying pint.

Cask. Coppery brown colour, small beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, nuts, some citrusy notes as well as mild wooden and resiny notes. Flavour is fruits, mild nuttyness, some toffee and wooden notes. Quite nicely dry palate as well. A nice darker bitter.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, pale malt, butter, light to moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, light acrid butter bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110807]
