Can from KWM, I think. Appearance - cloudy yellow to orange. Fluffy white head. Nose - fresh orange juice plus freshly peeled tangerine. Taste - quite rainy, then orange and pith. Palate - light bodied, dry and bitter middle and finish. Overall - decent.

Second rate of 2021; 440ml can, BBE Aug 2021. Drank at home on 5th Jan 2021. Exploded out of the can, a real 'gusher'; may have been infected because it was nothing like a Belgian Dubbel I've ever had. Anyway it was almost black in colour, the foaming head a deep tanned affair. Plenty of orange and cocoa about, but in a funky/semi sour/off sort of way. A lesser man would have struggled with this, I just gave my son half of it! My rating score is a kind one.

Can from Beers of Europe. Appearance - deep brown with a cream head. Nose - hints of orange and chocolate. Brown sugar. Taste - more of the same. Palate - creamy and medium bodied. Decent dry finish. Overall - good.

Can from Beers of Europe. Pours clear dark brown with a thick beige head. Aromas of chocolate, orange and prunes. Taste is dry, spicy, more prunes, light chocolate orange. Light sweet finish.

Can from Simply Cornish in Looe, drunk whilst participating in a Wycombe museum online event: Beer, wine and gin; what is the most historic drink. Cloudy golden-orange with a white head and a light fizz. Creamy mouthfeel, verging on chalky. Tropical aroma, flavour of orange, mango, an intriguing twist of coconut and a little spice. Somehow feels chewy, which I like. Good balance of sweet and bitter. Rather nice I thought. Oh, and you'll be glad to know that beer was voted the best historic drink at the event.

Can from Crafty Beer. Appearance - cloudy orange. Slightly off-white head. Nose - orange, but with dirty/earthy malt underlay. Taste - apple, orange and earthy. Palate - light bodied, dry middle and finish. Overall - ok, if a bit dirty.
