Description
We forged Firebrand in 2012 in a converted milking parlour on the untamed edge of Bodmin Moor, North Cornwall. The idea was born from our passion for beer made from all-natural ingredients, Cornish spring water, and American hops.
We brew beer that we love to drink and pride ourselves on our craft. Whether it’s a Hazy Vegan IPA or a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, we regularly refine and tweak our recipes to brew the best beer we can.
Originally launched because the co-owner and head brewer of Penpont Brewery Joe Thompson wanted to brew a more modern style so Firebrand Brewing Co. was created.

Can from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - hazy light amber. Thin but not unattractive lacing. Nose - a weird combination of cake and metal, but again, not putting me off. Taste - metallic, subtle cake again. A bit of sweet and bitter on the finish. Palate - yeah, sweet and bitter finish, which is a bit weird. The body up to that point is fine. Overall - not quite worth returning for another, but nearly there.

Can from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - pale yellow. Thin head. Nose - lemon, light metallic. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied, refreshing finish. Overall - it's a bit single dimensional but that dimension does what it's supposed to.
