Bottle at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol. Slightly hazy gold in colour with a big, rocky, white head. Floral notes aplenty, some malty sweetness, a hint of lemon and gentle finish. Enjoyable German drinking.

Bouteille 33cl. Dorée claire, col blanc crémeux. Arôme est légèrement fleuri et houblonné avec un petit rappel feuillu vert. Palais de corn malt, sec et amer avec une touche de houblon noble et une petite douceur maltée légèrement sucrée en retrait. Le houblonné/fleuri reste agréable et le point fort de cette bière qui reste des plus basique.

Mild getreidiger Antrunk, hell malzig, leicht hopfig. Wenig fruchtig, der milde Hopfen bleibt konstant. Zum Ende etwas trocken, geringfügig süß. Ok. 10/9/9/8//8

The beer starts smooth with hints of caramel. Easy to drink with slightly sweet malty body. But still dry and quite bitter. The aftertaste is smooth, bitter-malty, not too sweet with only hints of caramel or Blockmalz.

The beer starts smooth and quite neutral. Even more neutral than their Kölsch. The mainpart is slightly grainy, hints of sweetness. In the aftertaste there is a slightly malty-grainy hint, but still very neutral, slightly sweetish, nearly no hops.

The beer starts mild and smooth. Slightly sourish which makes it very refreshing. Nice and smooth. Flavourful for a Kölsch, smooth and crisp. The aftertaste is smooth, fresh and slightly hopped, easy to drink with no real bitterness. Hints of grain, fresh finish.

50cl bottle pours with a crystal clear watery gold body that supports a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with sugary malts as well as herbal floral hops, spicy hops, grassy hops and then a sweet candy like lime sensation. The taste delivers the expected sugary malt sweetness mixed with floral hops just before it gets into a light amount of apricot and pear like fruity esters. Overall not too bad.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht würzig. Geschmack malzig würzig, getreidig, leichte Bitterkeit.
