Clear pale amber colour, tall frothy white to off-white head, dissipates quickly to a small layer, fair lacing. Aroma toasted malts, caramel, grain, hay. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, toffee, toasted bread. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, toasty, burnt caramel, bit metallic, spicy notes, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, decent.

50cl bottle. Pours hazy deep golden colour with a mid-sized to small off-white head. Aroma of vegetables, mild spicy and metallic hops and grains. Taste of mild grainy malt, vegetables, green hops, spicy hops, overall uninteresting!Earlier Rating: 1/10/2015 Total Score: 1.7Klare goldene Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr metallisch, hopfig. Geschmack metallisch, getreidig, leicht oxidiert, gar nicht gut!

On tap at ’Biermuseum’. A bit hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity-grassy aroma of straw, citrus and some vanilla. Sweetish, slightly bitter, fruity-grassy taste of citrus, grains, straw and hints of vanilla, followed by a short, moderately grassy-bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Just okay, not sure if it’s really in top condition though.

On tap at ’Em Streckstrumpf’. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, quickly diminishing, white head. Spicy-grassy, slightly fruity aroma of straw, some grains and a touch of citrus. Slightly sweetish, grassy-spicy and a bit fruity taste of straw, grains, some citrus and hints of plastic (?), followed by a short, medium bitter, slightly grassy-dry and a bit spicy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable, not that great though.

On tap somewhere in Trier. Hazy yellow with a medium sized head. Aroma of lemons, straw and yeast. Taste is fruity, grassy, yeasty and hoppy bitter. Medium carbonation. Refreshing and very drinkable.

Bottle. Hazy straw-yellow color with white head. Aroma is bready, grainy, yeasty, herbal, a little bit grassy. Taste is bready, a bit bubblegum, some herbal hops, then a dry grassy-herbal finish. Fine-bubbled carbonation, a bit watery mouthfeel. Not bad, quite lecker actually!
