0.1 l on tap at ’Gesindehaus’. Clear, pale straw yellow with a frothy, white head. Sweetish, a little fruity-grassy aroma of straw, sweet malts and some citrus. Sweetish, slightly bitter, a little fruity-grassy taste of sweet malts, straw and some citrus, followed by a short, slightly grassy-bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, typical Kölsch.

Pours a hazy yellow color, topped with a medium sized and medium lasting white head. Slightly smelly malt aroma initially, sweet feel with mild grassy notes later on. Sweet start, not too intense but still. Mild bittery feel in the finish and short after. Not as crisp as would like it to be. Not unpleasant, though.

50cl Bottle from REWE Stenten. Just slightly hazy copper amber colour, creamy off-white head. Aroma of nuts, toast, leaves, caramel. Flavour is light to medium sweet, light malty, some caramel, toast, light nutty, bitter finish. Light bodied, high in carbonation. Decent, but a Dunkel, really?

50cl Bottle from REWE Stenten. Clear golden colour, fluffy white head. Aroma of green apples, red apples, honey, hint of metal. Flavour is papery, light grainy, lots of apple, fruity alcoholic esters, crude bitter finish. Light bodied, high in carbonation. Not so nice.

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, light grass, light vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, fruity malt, green grass, vetables notes. Golden color with white head. Aroma is light malt, slightly hoppy. Taste is similar. The slight hop sting is a nice addition Rather high carbonation for a Kölsch.
