Murky reddish brown beer, thick fioamy head. Smokey malt aroma with tangy fruit. The flavour is just light, tart cherry on top of a normal doppelbock but it's balanced beautifully. The cherries aren't overpowering and you still get the big, rich maltiness and neither cancels the other out. A little hoppiness comes through in the finish too. There's loads going on and I like it a lot.

Can. Little Leeds Beer House. Pale gold. Soft haze. Thin, lacing, lasting, white head. Nose has light, clean malt. Green leaf hop. Some sweet biscuit. Taste has a little sweetness, but is mostly dry, and grassy, leafy bitter. Light to medium body. Crisp carbonation. Light lingering bitterness to finish. Great lager.

500ml can. Pours golden with a slight haze, big frothy white head with good retention. Aroma of malts, grassy slightly citrusy hops. Taste of light sweet malts, grassy, light citrus, very crisp and clean. Light body, soft carbonation. An excellent lager, one of the best I've had.
