Cask @ Commercial Inn, Sowerby Bridge. Dark chestnut-red with a creamy head. There’s a few darker malts to be found in its nose, but a sugary sweet malt is more prevalent in its taste.

Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Golden with a creamy head. Its strength gives its tropical fruits a deeper and flavoursome character. There’s a good aroma in this respect with a berry-sweetness, and it’s crisp enough.

Tried at the strait and narrow, Lincoln. Golden colour with a thick white head. Fruity but light aroma. Taste is light sweet. Thin body.

Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Hazy honeycomb-gold with a creamy head. The honey is light, but its sweetness is about right and this is a crisp ale, possibly sessionable with a malty nose.

Cask @ Commercial Inn, Sowerby Bridge. Copper-amber with a small frothy head. Sweet with barley and grain evident. Not full-bodied but has a strength about it. Has a notable bitterness.

Gravity at Barrow Hill Festival - Deep dark beer with a little red tinge to it, thin tan head. Nose is full on espresso, with liquorice and burnt malts. Coffee goes through to the taste too, little bit of chocolate, and has a warmth that normally comes with heavier ABVs. Very nice to be honest.

Cask gravity at Reading Beer Festival 2015. Clear amber colour lasting white head. Some citrus hop on the aroma. More of the same in the mouth with some marmalade flavour. It’s a decent strongish golden ale on the apa border. OK.
