Half, cask at Five Lamps in Derby. Bright golden coloured body. Just a bubbly ring to the rim of the surface. Ripe citrus on the nose. Fresh fruit hoppy taste with lychee, orange and grapefruit. Smooth fruity end. Easy to drink. Refreshing thirst quencher (21.02.2015).

Cask @ Bar Fringe, Manchester. Clear golden ale with a glow. Has a creamy head and a light texture and taste and a little too thin to please in terms of its flavour. It’s nose has a hop-malt mix and there’s a small bitterness to the ale.

Cask-conditioned at the Devonshire Cat, Sheffield, 3/12/2014. Mahogany with a decnet, off-white, head. Sweetish, plum fruits, with a touch of barley sugar, grassy hops and a warming, bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Cask @ White Lion, Heptonstall. Clear dark amber with a smooth head. Best bitter with a nice smooth drinking texture and a small bushy sweetness in its nose.

Cask @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Very dark but not quite black with a small creamy off-white head. Has a light roasted malt aroma and a slightly fuller taste, although it’s bordering on porter territory with its fairly light tasting texture and sweetness.

On cask at British Oak, Mosborough - Clear yellow body, healthy sized white head, good carbonation. Nose is lightly floral, a bit of citrus, a bit of fragrant tropical fruit. A slight bitterness kicks this off, oranges, grapefruit, kumquat, finishing with a bitter tangerine ending that lasts quite a while.

Cask at the Anchor, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is big yeast, light malt. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a big yeast malty medicinal palate. I think the keg was coming to an end tbh. Pretty awful.
