Bottle picked up at Beermoth, Manchester, consumed at home Sunday 2nd April 2017 Pours black with a tan head, it’s creamy textured. Not much on the nose, it’s certainly raspberry in the mouth but a little chocolate smooths it out, not as tart as I was expecting but pretty decent. Good. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Deep, cola brown. Minimal head. Nose has milk chocolate. Vanilla. Raspberry purée. Taste has some raspberry tang. Fairly dry and roast malt bitter. Mouthfeel has depth, but is spoiled slightly by being too fizzy. Dry, fruity twang on the finish. Ok. Probably way better from a cask.

Clear amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, light creamy sweetness. Marmalade and orange peel hops. Very mild hop spice. Light semi dry finish. Decent but I expected a lot more from the 7C hops. I think this would be a nice cask beer.

Cask @ Brink, Manchester. Copper-red with a creamy head. Its rye malts are light, with a light berry-sweetness that is more pronounced in its nose.

Keg at the Petersgate Tap, Stockport, Greater Manchester in the company of Lynn and Barry, Saturday 18th February 2017 Amber in colour, good clarity, slim white head. Fruity with a little toffee and caramel, good bitter bite, nice beer. Drunk on its own this is very good, however after the Cloudwater DIPA V12 its never going to compete. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Cask handpump at the Petersgate Tap, Stockport, Greater Manchester in the company of Lynn and Barry, Saturday 18th February 2017 Light gold, sticky white head, nose is a little off putting, a little mouldy and light eggy on the nose. Simple but pleasant enough golden. Good beer but a little eclipsed by the Cloudwater DIPA V12 A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3
