Cask. Shakespeares, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Frothy, white head. Very juicy, peachy, light citrus hop. Light toffee, grainy malt. Light, fresh mintiness. Taste is pithy bitter. Light dry. A light sweetness on the lips. Decent body. Soft carbonation. Finishes mostly bitter, with some dryness at the end. Another cracker.

Hazy orange - amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Passion fruit and tropical fruits on the nose. Palate is light with fine minerally crispness. Light malts, a little sweet with a trace of caremel. Lovely hops, they follow the nose with passion fruit and other tropical fruits. Also joining the party are resinous pine and a little spice. Mild hop skunk and a slight savoury note. Light semi dry finish. Very nice indeed.

Light haze on this amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Nice fruity pumpkin delivered in a refreshingly crisp way. Touch of tangerine citric zing. Mild spices, thankfully! Light crisp finish. Nicely done. Pretty drinkable.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Dense, thin, lasting, white head. Juicy Fruit gum. Lemon juice. Light spice. A hint of Ribena cordial. Taste is dry, with a pithy bitter edge to it. Some oiliness to the palate, but still crisp. A little sharpness. Finishes short bitter. Dry close. Decent, but not as vibrant as some of North Riding’s other APA’s.

Bottle from Wine and Beer Direct, Halifax. Very dark brown with a small off-white head. Has roasted malts aroma and taste, but light and soapy - not quite how you expect a stout to be. Decent enough though.
