Bottle which is just labelled ’Black IPA’, no mention of ’Sitrius’. I assume this is the same beer. Same 5.5% abv. Opaque black - brown beer with a big pale tan head. Palate is light and crisp. Minerals. The dark malts are quite light in presence but their is a little roast bitterness. Good piney hops provide balance before the dark malts turn a little tangy. Crisp semi dry finish. Pretty good, light and drinkable.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, fruity, grass, orange - citrus, leather notes. Flavour is moderate to lgiht heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, orange, fruity, leather notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130401]

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, licorice, orange - citrus, leather notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice, dark malt, hoppy and malt. Nice ;O) Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130329]

Bottle shared at the ChrisO Flags of Many Nations Easter Tasting 2013 - London. Pours murky, light gold with a bubbly white head. Sharp lightly toasted bread in the nose, nips of brett. Light funky flavor, light to medium sweet, some bitter leaves. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate unintentional funk to finish with mild hay. Fair.
